In your role as HR Manager Asia Pacific area management will depend on you as the main executive and tactical advisor for HR services, policies and programmes in our Asia Pacific area. This includes:
- Recruiting and selecting new staff members
- Developing talent and careers, including management development
- Advising on employment contracts and benefits and monitoring compliance in the Asia Pacific area
- Co-ordinating staff and expatriate movements
- Liaising with outside institutions such as Embassies, Ministries of Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Trade and Industry, boarding schools, hospitals, insurance companies, JV partners, HR departments of other BAM operating companies
- Actively participating in various specific (HR) projects and committees
As HR Manager you have the following qualifications:
- A degree in Human Resources (higher vocational education at B.Sc. level)
- At least ten years of working experience in a comparable position
- Working experience within an international environment, preferably in the construction industry
- Excellent consulting and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel
- Persuasive and result oriented
- Strong in both analytical and practical thinking
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
